Industrial Maintenance Intern
to support equipment and facility maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This internship offers hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support while learning how maintenance contributes to safe and efficient operations.
Accountabilities
Assist maintenance staff with preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment and facility systems. Help track and document work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history in company software. Support troubleshooting and minor repairs under the supervision of skilled maintenance personnel. Participate in projects to improve equipment reliability, shop organization, and workplace safety. Learn how maintenance coordinates with engineering, quality, and safety teams to support production. Gain exposure to skilled trades work including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, welding, and carpentry. Qualifications
Pursuing a degree or certificate in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Interest in industrial maintenance, facilities, or manufacturing operations. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or maintenance software is a plus. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and variable temperatures. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
