Overview

Recruiter — Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Pacific, MO

About the Role

We’re hiring a full-cycle, high-volume Recruiter to join a small, fast-moving talent team supporting operational hires across utility, telecommunications, fiber, electrical, wireless, technology and data-center projects. You’ll source, screen and close candidates for a wide variety of roles (from Foreman to Sr. Director) and help build and maintain a strong recruiting pipeline for current and future needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting efforts for multiple operational groups — source, screen, interview and present high-quality candidates.
  • Manage a high requisition load (up to ~20 open reqs at a time) and deliver against hiring KPIs and SLAs.
  • Recruit for a wide range of skill sets and levels — from field and trade roles to mid- and senior-level corporate/operational positions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and pipeline data in the ATS and produce timely reporting on progress/metrics.
  • Provide excellent candidate experience through clear, consistent communication across the hiring process.
  • Forecast hiring needs and proactively build talent pipelines for future openings.
  • Negotiate offers and manage expectations for both hiring managers and candidates to enable smooth closes.
  • Present professionally to audiences of varying sizes (team meetings, hiring manager updates, etc.).
  • Support and participate in company culture initiatives and People-team events.
  • Perform other recruiting and People-team duties as assigned.

What Success Looks Like

  • You prioritize safety, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • You deliver excellent candidate experience and strong time-to-fill results in a high-volume environment.
  • You’re highly organized, accountable, and able to juggle competing priorities.
  • You build strong relationships with hiring managers, peers, and candidates and are an effective negotiator.
  • You’re adaptable, solution-oriented, and contribute positively to a small, close-knit team.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet recruiting KPIs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred

  • Previous experience recruiting in construction, utilities (electric, gas, water/wastewater), telecom or field operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for both hourly/field roles and salaried/professional roles.
