As we grow, we are seeking a driven and professional recruiter to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, onboarding, and retaining top tier skilled trades talent for our commercial construction clients.

Position Overview

The recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruitment of field employees across all skilled construction trades. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and consistent engagement with external candidates to maintain a qualified and reliable workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and post job descriptions/requisitions to our career portal and relevant job boards
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies tailored to current and forecasted project needs
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using multiple channels (job boards, networking, referrals, etc)
  • Conduct interviews to assess technical knowledge, skills, work history and cultural fit
  • Verify employment references and facilitate wage negotiations
  • Coordinate with onboarding team to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure staffing goals are met
  • Ensure compliance in accordance with internal policies and industry standards and regulations
  • Provide ongoing support to field employees and contribute to employee retention initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate data, recruitment activity, and employee engagement
Qualifications

Required:
  • 2-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and the knowledge of, or ability to learn basic office software
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Must be able to work standard business hours aligned to the Eastern Time Zone
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and/or skilled trade knowledge
