HR Director – Strategic People Leader. We’re looking for a forward-thinking Human Resources Director who thrives on both strategy and hands-on leadership. In this role, you’ll oversee every facet of HR for a fast-paced, labor-intensive business that’s growing and evolving quickly. From payroll and benefits to compliance, talent acquisition, and immigration program management, you’ll be the go-to partner for leadership and employees alike. What You’ll Do

  • Drive Strategy: Partner with executive leadership to align people strategies with business goals. Serve as a trusted advisor on all HR matters.
  • Lead HR Operations: Oversee HR policies, programs, and compliance. Manage employee relations with fairness, discretion, and professionalism. Ensure full compliance with employment laws at all levels.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Direct payroll operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Lead benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor relationships. Evaluate and enhance compensation and benefits to stay competitive.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Build and execute recruitment strategies for both year-round and seasonal hiring. Oversee onboarding, training, and performance management. Create programs that foster engagement, accountability, and growth.
  • Immigration Program Management: Oversee the full cycle of the H-2B visa program, ensuring compliance and seamless integration. Partner with operations to forecast seasonal labor needs. Stay ahead of evolving regulations and requirements.
  • Culture & Engagement: Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace. Drive initiatives to boost employee satisfaction and retention. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification a plus).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required).
  • Experience managing H-2B visa programs or large-scale seasonal workforces is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
  • Proven leadership experience in a high-volume, labor-intensive industry (landscaping, construction, agriculture, etc. preferred).
  • Skilled communicator with strong HRIS, payroll, and reporting expertise.
