Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic HVAC Account Manager dedicated primarily to seeking out and securing new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong background in business development and new account acquisition. The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new client relationships - expanding our customer base and transitioning accounts to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC sector, focusing on light commercial and/or residential markets as assigned Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals Conduct business development initiatives, including presentations, proposals, and negotiations, to secure new accounts Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets and increase market penetration Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition to aligned to territory manager Prepare and present regular reports on new business development progress and account status to management Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales, business development, or account management Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business and achieving sales targets Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, sales analytics tools and CRM platforms Willingness to travel locally 70%+ to meet with prospective clients and customers and attend industry events as needed Bi-lingual (Spanish/English), a plus • HVAC experience preferred; NOT required What We Offer
