The Role We're looking for an Equipment and Automation Engineer to help scale the hardware and systems that power our factory. You'll play a hands-on role designing, testing, and optimizing new automation equipment-working across mechanical, electrical, and software boundaries. This role offers broad ownership, room to experiment, and the opportunity to work on a fast-moving team pushing the limits of advanced manufacturing.
What You'll Do Design, test, and qualify new production equipment for precision casting Debug and resolve equipment issues in real-time to keep the line running smoothly Optimize machine parameters to improve yield, reliability, and throughput Collaborate with the materials team to integrate new materials and processes Partner with vendors to manufacture and deliver your designs What We're Looking For
2+ years of hands-on mechatronics or automation experience Degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering-or equivalent real-world experience Strong grasp of industrial hardware and control systems (fittings, connectors, motion control, microcontrollers) Excellent mechanical design and prototyping skills Comfort working both in CAD and on the shop floor Must be a U.S. Person (due to ITAR regulations) Bonus Experience
Precision casting, ceramics manufacturing, heat treatment, or slurry systems Aerospace manufacturing (AS9100) High-volume or high-growth manufacturing environments SLA 3D printing Prior experience at a startup or tech-forward hardware company Why Join Rangeview
