Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling customer payments, providing product information, resolving complaints, stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining clean checkout areas. You will also stay informed about weekly ads, store events, and seminars, and communicate effectively with the front end team. All related duties as assigned should be executed diligently.

Qualifications

To qualify as a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Display an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Be capable of operating front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependably work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess good communication skills and be receptive to feedback, working well within a team.
• Perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs., and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for durations up to 50 hours.
• Have strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $21.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
