Position Summary:
We are seeking a
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
to provide supportive, hands-on care in collaboration with our Physical Therapists. In this flexible, as-needed role, you will assist in the implementation of therapeutic programs aimed at improving our residents' mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities: Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT). Assist residents with exercises and therapeutic activities to enhance strength, mobility, and function. Monitor and document resident progress accurately and report changes to the PT. Educate residents and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations. Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Georgia. Graduate of an accredited PTA program. CPR certification (preferred). Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Why Work With Us?
