Selectek is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing design engineering team specializing in mission-critical Data Center projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale electrical engineering efforts and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on highly technical and complex infrastructure systems. Responsibilities

Lead the development of design solutions for data center and mission-critical facilities. Provide technical design support and guidance to the design team. Prepare schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications in compliance with project programs and building codes. Coordinate electrical designs with other engineering disciplines, manufacturers, and vendors. Perform field surveys, site visits, and construction observations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of construction documents. Prepare and review Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis reports. Apply mastery of NFPA codes and NEC requirements throughout design deliverables. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 10+ years of electrical design experience (15+ years preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) license required. NCEES Accredited. Prior data center design experience (must-have). Experience with MV (34.5 kV) power distribution systems and understanding of HV design power distribution. Strong knowledge of conductors, conduits, and grounding per NEC requirements. Proficiency in performing load calculations, demand factors, fault current, and voltage drop calculations. Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. Proven ability to solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
