Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience and an active BLS for a weekday role.
Responsibilities Outpatient clinic focusing on orthopedic patients, including postoperative joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, mild neurological conditions, and geriatric cases Typical caseload is 10–12 patients per day for eight-hour shifts Shifts are Monday through Friday, with options for 8 or 10 hour days; possible early starts at 7am or late shifts until 6pm for 10 hour days No weekends, no on-call, and no overtime required Every other holiday required Transfer equipment includes Sara Steady and Hoyer lift devices Pass/Fail EKG testing is administered on first day with up to two attempts; study guides are provided Pewter gray scrubs are required for this position Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted Caseload and patient ratios may vary based on staffing levels Team includes prescreening by internal staff and interviews by unit manager
Requirements Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Ohio required; license required if applicable BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience Graduate of an accredited PT program with at least a Bachelor’s degree; Doctorate preferred Specialty certification such as OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, or Women’s Health is preferred
