Position Overview We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role is open to candidates who are either:
A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), or
An Engineering Intern (EIT) actively working toward licensure.
You must hold either designation to apply for this role.
The Civil Engineer will play a key role in delivering land development and civil site design projects while contributing to a team culture that values both technical excellence and faith-based principles.
Responsibilities
Design and develop civil engineering projects including site grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.
Prepare detailed construction documents and schematics using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Perform stormwater design using ICPR and potable/reclaimed water design with WaterCAD.
Draft technical reports such as stormwater reports, lift station reports, and utility reports.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies via phone, email, and meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
PE License in Florida or EIT certification with plans to obtain PE license in the near future. Applicants who do not hold either designation will be disqualified.
MUST HAVE 3-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE in civil site design and land development (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
Knowledge of local, state (FDOT, FDEP, WMD), and federal regulations and permitting processes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
