DESCRIPTION:

The specialist role is responsible for maintaining the inventory within the parts department for Myco Maintenance. This person will report to the terminal manager.

RESPONSBILITIES:

Purchase parts and supplies using the local purchase order system and workflow process. Order parts and supplies to ensure minimal downtime and outages. After the parts have been received; enter them in to the system, barcode and then put them away into the appropriate area or bin. Complete data entry and other clerical tasks to ensure purchase orders and cores owed are maintained and up to date. Monitor & control inventory, and ensure accuracy of inventory across terminal network. Conduct physical inventories and perform cycle counts when needed. Provide purchasing and inventory support to terminal network. Effectively communicate purchase status of parts & supplies for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Establish rapport with all vendors for the purpose of expediting the purchasing of parts and supplies. Assist Manager in reducing and eliminating obsolete inventory. Keep receiving room, parts room, hose room and upstairs tidy and clear of any unnecessary items and misc. debris. Package and Ship orders to other terminals. Other duties or tasks as needed by the Shop Foreman or Terminal Manager. REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Ability work as a member of a team. Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Clear understanding of customer service, sales and marketing concepts. Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and internet functions and other computer software applications. TMT Fleet Maintenance software (by TMW Systems) experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking Climbing Lifting up to 50 lbs Sitting Bending & Squatting

Compensation $20-23.00 per hour
