Maintenance Technician I

to work

full-time Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with rotating weekends . Our Maintenance Technician I works in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Facility Operations Director and/or Assistant Facility Operations Director to complete work order requests. Must be able to perform the duties outlined below.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician I: Responsible for keeping maintenance shop clean, orderly, and neat. Maintains all tolls, equipment, and supplies in proper condition on a daily basis. Responsible for prioritizing daily work. Responds to work order requests and radio calls in a timely manner. Performs minor repairs (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.), pain, installs household fixtures, routine preventative maintenance for villas and cottages, and other requests as needed. Treats all members with courtesy and respect at all times. Performs special projects as needed. Assist in responding to Fire Alarms or drills. Cross-trains in all other areas of Maintenance Department. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

Highschool diploma or equivalent. Must be skilled in proper usage of necessary tools and equipment for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, etc. Must have at least one to four years' experience in all areas of maintenance (e.g., electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, etc.). Ability to talk respectfully with, understand, empathize with, work with and be tolerant of members, residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and other outside contractors. Must have valid driver's license and maintain "clean" driving record. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English. Pay Range $18.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience + $1,500 Sign On Bonus!
