JOB SUMMARY:
Hire, assign, and evaluate instructional and non-instructional staff Supervise curriculum design. Create and adjust class schedules to fit participant and curriculum needs Lead the program to meet State accountability goals Ensure the program's compliance with State policies and procedures Plan and oversee the annual budget for Adult Literacy in collaboration with and approval from Executive Director Provide active leadership for key partnerships in Adult Literacy Manage volunteer processes, including recruitment, background checks, training, retention and any problem solving as needed Lead conflict resolution when needed among students, staff, partners and others Implement grant projects (scheduling, staffing, etc.) Manage building security and facility issues Oversee maintenance of staff and student data Procure, assign, and oversee use of technology Manage the Rochester Consortium and SE Regional Coordination Serve on District, local, regional, and State ABE and/or educational committees or boards Supervise office staff and processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Minnesota Teaching and ABE license Three years of ABE teaching and/or administration experience Proven skill in grant writing and management
