This pivotal role will oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and revenue recognition. You will drive the establishment of a robust internal control environment, contribute to our financial systems strategy, and ensure compliance with global tax regulations and audits. A critical aspect of your responsibilities will be preparing the organization for an IPO, focusing on public company reporting, systems, and governance. As a strategic partner to the CFO, your emphasis on financial strategy, risk management, and operational excellence will be vital to our success. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, coupled with an active CPA license. You should have at least 15 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a background in a Big 4 firm and proven leadership in a late-stage private or publicly traded SaaS organization. A deep understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and SaaS financial reporting metrics is essential, along with experience in IPO preparation and functioning in a public company environment. You will be a strategic systems thinker, focused on financial innovation, and should have strong executive presence, capable of influencing board-level and C-suite discussions.
