CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver

Position Highlights: Direct-Hire with a Monday-Friday schedule Home Daily - Enjoy your evenings with family Full Benefits available after 31 days of employment Compensation: Hourly pay ranging from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience. Three scheduled pay increases within the first year of employment. Overtime pay after 40 hours each week. Typical work hours: 40-45 hours per week, with weekly paychecks. Work typically concludes between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. No overnight layovers - return home each day. Make 3-4 stops per route, within a 200-mile radius. Flexibility required for work schedules and route assignments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver and unload steel building supplies to designated locations. Operate CDL trucks for transportation of materials and equipment to specified destinations. Provide exemplary customer service during deliveries. Inspect mechanical aspects of the vehicle regularly. Report any maintenance or repair issues related to trucks and equipment. Utilize flatbed Conestoga trailers; responsible for load securement without tarping. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old. Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement. Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical. A minimum of 2 years of experience driving CDL A tractor-trailer flatbed. Must be in excellent physical condition to perform tasks that require standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Able to work in various environments and under challenging conditions, including hot, cold, and dusty areas, both indoors and outdoors. Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds without assistance.
