Summary Of Position

As a Workday Data Analyst, you will help turn complex data into clear, actionable intelligence. You will use your proficiency in Workday to connect our end users to the best quality data available.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining datasets to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business partners and enterprise technology teams to deliver workforce insights and BI solutions.

The ideal candidates will combine Workday technical expertise with HCM domain knowledge and communication skills to get the right data to the right people. You will be detail-oriented, experienced in project implementations, and able to follow documentation standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on Workday tools to help map business requirements to the right solution

Support our Workforce Analytics Teams by offering up qualified and often enriched Workday data for given use cases

Ensure the highest level of data quality in your outputs through robust testing and data validations

Accountable to deliver on a portfolio of strategically important data projects/initiatives that can span across multiple business functions

Engage with partners to optimize existing data flows to pinpoint standardization opportunities and drive efficiency, performance and usability

Promote a strong data culture to drive data engagement and literacy so teams feel empowered to make data-driven decisions

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Work Experience

5+ years of experience in Workday HCM

Proven expertise as an SME in the Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics space with hands-on experience in Workday Reports; including Advanced, Matrix & Composite report types

Experience with Dashboarding in Workday; exposure to Discovery Boards is beneficial

Experience handling large datasets from multiple data sources, with expertise in organizing and preparing data for analysis

Proven track record in delivering on large scale HR transformations projects; in a consulting capacity preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

Workday HCM Certified (Pro or Implementer)

Workday Advanced Reporting Certified (Pro or Implementer)

Workday Prism Certified (Pro or Implementer)

Knowledge/Skills

In-depth knowledge of the Workday Object Model, Workday Report Writer and Calculated Field development

Ability to drive requirements gathering to capture business needs and translate them Workday solutions

Knowledge and understanding of key finance / HR processes relating to position management/workforce planning and the employee journey (onboarding, retention, separation etc

Expertise in data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms (ideally Tableau)

Knowledge of Workday Security and how that can impact report design and data access

Excellent problem-solving capabilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex HR system concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
