Job Duties:
Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on workplace challenges, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and HR policies.
Coach managers on best practices in performance management, corrective actions, and accurate documentation.
Act as an employee advocate, ensuring fair treatment while aligning with the organization’s objectives.
Mediating disputes between employees and supervisors to enhance communication and foster understanding.
Conduct impartial, thorough, and timely investigations into employee complaints, addressing issues such as attendance, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
Maintain precise and confidential records of investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee concerns.
Identify trends and recurring employee relations issues, using insights to drive training and policy improvements.
Assist in developing and delivering employee relations training and resources to empower staff.
Champion initiatives that promote a positive company culture, employee engagement, and equitable workplace practices.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, focusing on employee relations and leadership coaching.
Experience conducting investigations and preparing comprehensive reports and documentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA.
Proven capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost professionalism and discretion.
Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
Effective interviewing skills, with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Proficient in documentation, investigation techniques, and case management.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.
