Monday Friday The role youll contribute
The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the employee relations function for assigned facilities. Administration includes consultation on employee relations issues for employees and leadership, facilitation of initiatives that foster a positive employee relations environment that aligns with the mission and service standards of AdventHealth. Incumbent is responsible for employee relations investigations and business analytics, identifying and recommending solutions, using discretion and available resources. Employee Relations Partners are expected to show a continuous behavior of professionalism, including treating patients and workforce members with respect and dignity, aligning behavior with our service standards. The value youll bring to the team Conducts investigations into employee relations concerns including harassment, discrimination, workplace misconduct, conflict of interest, retaliation, workplace violence, and policy violations, ensuring investigations are executed with fairness, thoroughness, timeliness and confidentiality. Provides resolution options in employee relations investigations including but not limited to corrective actions, performance improvement plans (PIP), workplace accommodations, compliance and policy violations. Also provides legally sound solutions to complex cases using effective judgement and discretion that aligns with employment labor laws and company policies. Partners with business leaders to maintain a positive employee relations climate by proactively providing consultation on conflict resolution, diversity, inclusion, cultural sensitivity and other employee relations best practices. Works collaboratively with employees and business leaders on company-wide and department policy interpretation. Responds effectively and timely to employee relations queries in accordance with established SLA guidelines. (Service Level Agreements) Analyzes data to identify patterns and trends to proactively recommend employee relations programs and initiatives; provides options and recommends appropriate steps for resolution in accordance with policies, procedures and protocols. Partners with facility human resources and business leaders to implement and administer policies and programs, Fit for Duty and mandatory EAP referrals. Provides training and support to business leaders on policies and procedures related to employee relations. Lead unemployment compensation hearings and provides guidance and support to participating business leaders. Facilitate workplace and religious accommodations and the interactive process. Processes unpaid administrative leaves (UAL) as necessary. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant. Ability to travel locally 25% - 50% of the time. Qualifications
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's Required 5+ years of experience in employee relations or similar HR role Proficiency in writing skills to ensure documentation is adequate and accurate. Human Capital Management (HCM) experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience in building strong, effective business relationships. Strong interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Preferred
Diversified experience in human resources field or in a generalist role Preferred 3+ years of experience in a customer service environment, related to human resources Licensure, Certification, or Registration Preferred
