Role Purpose
As our intern, you will be involved with Corning’s Environmental Technologies (CET) segment which manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world. The purpose of our Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for our immediate and future needs. Shape your future; apply today!

Experiences/Education - Required
Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Level Engineering program; preference for Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Working knowledge or experience with design of experiments (DOE) concepts
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
Be willing to work at the posted job location
Experiences/Education - Desired
Understanding or experience with ceramic products
Basic understanding of ceramic processes
Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC or similar principles
Experience with JMP data analysis software

The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
