Description
DGM seeks a driven, self-starting sales professional who Excels at:
- Generating new business opportunities by promoting DGM's custom packing, crating, and regulatory compliance services
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with companies requiring packaging solutions for both dangerous and non-dangerous goods
- Generating leads, delivering impactful sales presentations, and driving revenue growth-particularly within the custom packing, crating, logistics, and dangerous goods compliance services industry.
- Representing DGM in customer-facing environments, including local travel, on-site client consultations, trade shows, and industry networking events
- Identifying customer needs related to safe packaging, hazmat compliance, In-Transit Warehousing and Distribution Solutions, documentation standards, and cargo readiness for domestic and international transport.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities for DGM's crating and packing services.
- Create persuasive proposals and engaging presentations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, customer service) to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships to encourage long-term partnerships.
- Track and analyze sales performance using Dynamic Business Central and other sales system/tools.
- Actively support marketing and outreach initiatives to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to promote the company and its products or services
- Partner with Marketing and Account Executives to develop strategic approaches for account attainment in defined markets.
- Educate clients about service terminology, features, and benefits to enhance understanding and customer satisfaction.
- Manage client accounts effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Provide support to other Business Development team members, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial packaging, crating, cargo services, or logistics support.
- Strong understanding of custom crating, packing for transit, or related technical services
- Strong sales track record and customer service orientation
- Proficient in MS Office; comfortable with CRM and proposal tools
- Willingness to travel as needed to local customer sites and trade shows and industry events
- Experience of hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations is a strong plus
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% between Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta, as needed, with potential relocation opportunities.

- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
