Job Posting: Long-Term Care Pharmacist

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Setting: Closed-Door, Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 8 AM and 11 PM (Monday–Friday), every 3rd weekend (9 AM–7 PM)

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview: We are looking for a Long-Term Care Pharmacist to join our closed-door pharmacy team in Indianapolis, IN. This role offers a stable schedule, a supportive work environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care. We welcome new graduates and retail pharmacists seeking to transition into long-term care pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify prescriptions for long-term care patients
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in medication dispensing

Qualifications

• Active Indiana Pharmacist License in good standing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in long-term care, retail, or closed-door pharmacy preferred but not required
