My client is a top Multifamily builder in the Midwest with a pipeline of over $800M. They are an organization that puts their culture at the forefront of their business model and look for team players with an innovative approach. They are big on promoting from within and have the role open due to great growth in their Indianapolis office. This is an excellent opportunity to sit on a leadership team of a top ENR 100 company in the Midwest. This person needs to promote a collaborative atmosphere and be a true team player.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to develop project specific timelines and budgets
- Management of project specific schedule during preconstruction through completion
- Create your own team of Project Managers and Superintendents for all projects
- Manage and negotiate terms of agreements, drafting of contracts to analyze and mitigate risk
- Develop and maintain all financial for projects
- Attend all leadership meetings
- Management and oversight of construction team projects to ensure they adhere to the project specific timeline and budget constraints
- Provide regular review of construction team project progress to ensure safety and proper development
- Be involved in hiring decisions
- Win new work as necessary

The Successful Leader
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of construction experience as a Project Manager
- Proven experience leading a team of Project Managers
- Excellent leadership, organizational and analytical skills
- Great time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to solve complex construction and communication issues
- Multifamily, Mixed-use and wood framed experience highly preferred
