School Speech Language Pathologist - Indianapolis, Indiana

A K-12 school in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide expert speech and language therapy services for the current school year under a contract arrangement. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills within an educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines and state regulations
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• State licensure to practice as an SLP in Indiana
• Previous experience working as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist
• Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently
