Job Title: Production Manager Job Description
The Production Manager will manage and oversee a team consisting of 3 assemblers and 2 clean room technicians. This role involves managing daily and weekly performance, generating work orders based on sales orders, and overseeing the quality check process after instruments are built, ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment. The Production Manager will also support safety initiatives and 5S/lean continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency. This position includes managing production schedules and assigning tasks to team members.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a team of assemblers and clean room technicians.
Generate work orders based on sales orders.
Manage daily and weekly team performance.
Oversee the quality check process for built instruments.
Ensure instruments meet quality standards before shipment.
Support safety and 5S/lean continuous improvement projects.
Manage production schedules and assign tasks to team members.
Essential Skills
6+ years of experience in supervision and people management.
6+ years of experience managing production processes, including assembly.
6+ years of experience working with ERP systems to track work orders.
6+ years of experience reviewing mechanical and electrical drawings.
Knowledge of production management, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.
Familiarity with Six Sigma, instrumentation, electronics, and electro-mechanical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Degree in engineering or business operations.
Experience in medical device and biotechnology industries.
Understanding of biotech instrumentation and electro-mechanical systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
18 paid holidays, 2-3 weeks pto, full benefits after 90 day probationary period
