Job Description
Small Site Principal Opportunity
MLC is looking for an experienced school leader to lead our middle school campus, joining a dynamic leadership team with proven success in bilingual education and preparing scholars for success in a global society. The Middle School Principal will have the experience, presence, and passion to lead educators and staff on a small campus for approximately 130 students in grades 6-8.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Instructional Excellence
Coach and develop teachers through regular observation, feedback, and co-teaching Drive data-informed decision-making to enhance student achievement Support innovative teaching practices including Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Project Based Learning, and dual language instruction Create opportunities for student exhibition and performance Shape School Culture
Foster a middle school environment that celebrates diversity and creates a sense of belonging Collaborate on school-wide initiatives that engage our diverse community Design and implement activities that spark joy and student engagement Drive Operational Success
Oversee campus operations and staff supervision Coordinate assessment and testing programs Manage special education services and intervention programs Build strong partnerships with families and community organizations Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek candidates who demonstrate:
Proven success in middle school education (charter schools preferred) and a genuine passion for working with young adolescents Minimum of 5 years of school leadership experience California Teaching Credential

(bilingual authorization a plus) Administrative Credential preferred Fluency
in Spanish and English (including academic vocabulary) Deep commitment to social justice and educational equity Experience with project-based and culturally responsive pedagogies Additional Information
Professional Growth and Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience) 100% employee medical/dental coverage 50% family medical/dental coverage CalSTRS contribution Collaborative, mission-driven work environme
