Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an entry-level engineer (Assistant Engineer I) for our
Pensacola
office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water/wastewater/reuse treatment facility upgrades, conveyance systems, wellfields, stormwater management, water resources, and asset management.

Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports Work directly with senior level engineering team providing mentoring opportunities to learn and develop Manage data for process modeling and design Attend client and internal project management meetings Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment Support multiple projects from planning through construction Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state) Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical engineering Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry Preferred Qualifications:
EIT certification Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in Environmental or Civil Engineering What We Offer:
