We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety operations for our client in Mojave Valley, AZ. This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in construction safety to make a lasting impact on a high-profile structural concrete project.
Position Details
Hourly Rate:
$59.50/hr (Local) | $50/hr (Non-local)
Per Diem:
$125/day (7 days per week if over 50 miles from project location)
Completion Bonus:
$150/month
Pay Frequency:
Weekly
Schedule:
9-hour days, 6 days per week
Project Scope The Construction Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all site safety operations for a structural concrete project with subcontractors on-site (excavation, electrical, and plumbing).
Qualifications
BCSP: CHST or higher OR 4-year degree in safety
5+ years of construction safety experience
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions
Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards
Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports
Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization
Skills & Knowledge Skills
Strong public speaking and communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
Knowledge
In-depth understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards
Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and enforce compliance
