Job Details
Hourly Rate:
$56/HR (local) $50/HR (non-local)
Per Diem:
$125/Day on seven days
Completion Bonus:
$150/month
Pay:
Weekly
Schedule:
50+ hours; M-F, 1st shift and 2nd shift with potential for weekend work
Project Scope The construction safety manager will oversee subcontractors at the Data Center during the construction phase. Has a safety manager on site, will be more paperwork and a field support role.
Qualifications Candidates must have the following requirements:
BCSP: Minimum CHST but would prefer CSP+
Bilingual Spanish/English
3+ years of experience as a construction safety manager
Key Responsibilities
Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
Provide safety training as needed
Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
Skills & Knowledge Skills:
Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
