Sr. Direct Placement Technical Recruiting Manager / National Account Manager
Manages procurement activities to support production schedules through strategic purchasing, MRP analysis, and supplier coordination in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in a Business-related field Minimum 5 years of buying/sourcing experience in a manufacturing setting Experience with international purchasing preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with machining and fabrication procurement Hands-on experience with MRP or ERP systems, including MRP analysis and production control/planning APICS or Supply Chain Management certification preferred Preferred Skills: Familiarity with purchase order placement processes based on daily MRP requirements Ability to ensure on-time delivery of materials and parts Experience with non-conforming purchase part disposition and returns Skilled in expediting orders and coordinating with vendors Ability to support cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Production Job Responsibilities: Perform daily review of MRP requirements to generate and place purchase orders Monitor open orders and ensure timely delivery to meet production and shipping schedules Collaborate with internal departments to support ongoing manufacturing and planning needs Manage supplier relationships and negotiate as necessary for materials and components Coordinate the return, replacement, or disposal of non-conforming parts Expedite critical orders and resolve supply chain disruptions proactively Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
