Job duties include: Set up and operate slitter to slit steel coils to customer specification and properly tag cuts to be packaged. Resolve quality issues caused by quality of material, tooling, or incorrect setup and report any deviations to plant supervisor for approval. Supervise slitter helper. Communicate with crane operator for proper packaging and quality. Operate crane if necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Follow all safety procedures. Strong mathematical and mechanical ability and knowledge of the use of calipers and micrometers. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location:
