Overview

David’s Bridal is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR is responsible for interacting with customers with a friendly, positive, authentic, empathetic, and professional approach to deliver a Five-Star Customer Service Experience. The CSR supports the welcome desk, cash wrap, systems/processes, inventory management, and daily routines to ensure the store provides an excellent customer experience. The CSR reports to the Store Manager, in partnership with the Operations Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, via virtual chats, and in person; adapt communication style to solve problems and resolve conflicts.
  • Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a Five-Star Customer Service experience.
  • Maintain service vows: Be Prepared, Welcoming, meet needs, and assist all customers, including operational tasks and meeting emotional and practical needs.
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and contribute to store-wide Five-Star performance.
  • Address customer concerns proactively; escalate and partner with leadership when needed.
  • Explain how alterations contribute to perfecting the dress for events, in partnership with Alterations; promote alteration services and personalization options.
  • Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience and adhere to the Dress Code policy.
  • Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information.
  • Build and maintain relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Engage in inventory management, processing orders, receiving, and ensuring first-quality standards for merchandise.
  • Support cash wrap processes and handle transactions accurately to make customers feel celebrated.
  • Assist with sales promotions and visual updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate with customers.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; ability to see up close and at a distance; use computers and devices for long periods.

Education & Credentials

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel, service, or a specialty store is acceptable.
