About the Role
This position is with a leading company in the Manufacturing & Production industry, within its Adhesive Technologies business unit. What You'll Do
- Production Oversight: Continually monitor production performance and make proactive, strategic adjustments to the production plan to improve overall efficiency.
- Operational Communication: Maintain daily communication with the Supply Planning team to ensure optimal customer service while maximizing labor efficiency. This includes managing work plans and staffing, and minimizing overtime.
- Team Leadership & Safety: Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. You'll cultivate a positive work culture by promoting teamwork and respectful communication across all shifts.
- Process Improvement: You will be responsible for ensuring a constant exchange of ideas, concerns, and suggestions with hourly production employees and supervisors to improve processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Experience: Five years of experience as a Production Manager, or 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
- Preferred Skills:- Experience with chemical manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
 
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually.
