Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Accountabilities: Troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machines , robot, assembly and auxiliary equipment. Conduct regular maintenance checks and minor adjustments on injection molding equipment. Support Calibration , engineering, and operations team to optimize the performance of the machinery and auxiliary equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards. Collaborate with quality control, production, and engineering teams. Support daily molding and assembly operations teams. Perform minor cleaning and adjustments on auxiliaries, and automation as needed. Stop production flow to correct quality issues and document findings and/or adjustments in the designated log. Perform corrective maintenance at the equipment used in the operations area. Install, verify, and start up equipment at the CooperSurgical Stafford Facility. Installation, set up and start up of auxiliary equipment used at CooperSurgical Stafford Facility. Follow the Lock out tag out principles to ensure the safety of all the team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment. Proactively find solutions to problems. Fill out activities report and submitted at the CooperSurgical Maintenance system to have a tracking of all the performed activities. Contact vendors to get quotes for needed spare parts, services or troubleshooting assistance. Submit the requested purchases orders for tools, spare parts or services needed at the Coopersurgical Stafford Facility. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Travel:

Qualifications

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards, such as ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems . Strong technical knowledge to be able to have an effective communication within tech support teams, spare parts sales representatives and engineering team. Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot machine or auxiliary equipment issues effectively. Skilled in identifying process improvements, optimizing cycle times, and reducing downtime. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adjust to changes in project priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, leaders, and supervisors. Passion for improving processes, reducing waste, and enhancing quality. Understand of the operation of the Injection molding machines (for thermoplastics and LSR materials). (preferred) Computer skills , to provide daily activities reports and request/full fit PM Orders request and PO request. Work Environment:

In-person job base schedule is Monday to Thursday, 40 hrs. per week at the at CooperSurgical location in Stafford, Tx. Flexibility is based on production demands often outside of base schedule hours, as needed. Working with diverse sizes and shapes of tooling daily, up to 50 pounds. Standing regularly at long intervals and lifting/moving objects throughout the day. Regular use of computer terminals. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to work 10-hour shifts (Day or Night) and overtime. Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED required, associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance highly recommended. 3-5 years of experience as an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is preferred. In lieu of Injection Molding Process experience, 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment with direct experience in technical processes. Strong knowledge of Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. PLC set up knowledge (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills High diligence and self-motivation skills. Certified to use overhead cranes or ability to take training to get certified.
