Description: This role partners with key stakeholders to provide import guidance ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations while supporting international business activities. The Analyst will play a key role in continuously improving global trade program through automation, process streamlining, training, and risk assessments, while also identifying opportunities to reduce tariff expenses.
Primary Responsibilities: Lead development and updates of company policy and procedures related to import compliance. Design, document, implement, and maintain systems to qualify products/transactions for tariff reductions under special trade programs. Maintain required records. Manage Bell's Customs brokers and freight forwarders. Perform audits and self-assessments. Present global trade-related training materials. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. 5-7 years of global trade compliance experience. Experience leading tariff reduction opportunities under special trade programs. Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues with team members, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders. Ability to identify training needs and deliver effective training. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills & Experience:
Licensed Customs Broker. Experience with SAP, ENOVIA, ACE, or Business Objects.
