Overview

Manufacturing Technician (7:00am - 5:30pm, M-Th) for our Laurel, Montana facility. In this role, you will perform hands-on work along a production line, operating and troubleshooting equipment to ensure efficient workflow. You’ll also carry out minor repairs as needed to maintain optimal production performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot production line equipment.
• Perform equipment change-overs.
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject any product outside of specifications.
• Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line.
• Complete and maintain daily production logs.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production line machinery.
• Communicate with other operators.
• Add chemicals and materials to work pieces, using hand tools.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Comply with ISO 9001 quality policies, procedures, instructions and forms.
• Comply with all applicable laws.
• Maintenance on production equipment.
• General housekeeping of production area.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on production line machinery.

Your Profile

• 0–3 years of skilled labor experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the chemical or metalworking industry.
• High School Diploma.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Strong multitasking abilities and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to access and share critical information.
• Skills: Experience with quality control is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, including development, implementation, and compliance.
