Overview

Custodian role at Holdrege Public Schools. Responsible for working collaboratively and independently as assigned by the building Principal/Administrator, or designee.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties (cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing trash, handling recyclable materials).
• Set up/take down of chairs, tables, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance activities; notify management of repairs.
• Clean snow or debris from sidewalk.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Year Round – approximately 40 hours weekly

Salary

$17.50/hour Custodian - Adjustment for verified experience based on administrative discretion.
