Job Title: Laboratory Manager – Construction Materials TestingAbout the Role
Are you a seasoned professional in construction materials testing with a passion for leadership and quality assurance? We are seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead our dynamic testing facility, specializing in concrete, aggregate, and other construction materials. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact the success of infrastructure and construction projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the construction materials testing laboratory.
Ensure accurate and timely testing of concrete, aggregate, and other materials in compliance with ACI and ASTM standards.
Maintain and continuously improve laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control systems.
Lead, train, and mentor laboratory staff to ensure high performance and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with construction and geology teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience managing a construction materials laboratory.
Expertise in concrete, aggregate, and material testing.
ACI Certifications in one or more of the following:
Concrete Strength Testing
Aggregate Base
Aggregate Testing
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or higher from a technical or four-year institution.
Background in geology or construction materials science.
Familiarity with advanced testing equipment and laboratory technologies.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
