Responsibilities

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies for all public and employee spaces and restrooms on The Ringling\'s expansive 66 acre property with a focus on guest experience.
• Completing additional tasks as identified or as instructed by supervisor. Drives custodial golf carts to deliver supplies, carry equipment, and remove trash/recycling.
• Provides information to visitors and responds to questions.
• Performs custodial maintenance projects.
• Performs other duties and assists with special events as assigned.

Qualifications

• 9th grade education or higher.
• Valid driver\'s license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend/stoop, work with chemicals, and lift up to 45 lbs. (water cooler bottles).

Additional Information

• This role is based in Sarasota, FL, and is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
• Working hours are Thursday - Monday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a half hour meal period. Every seven weeks, this role may require shifts to provide custodial services to the Center for Performing Arts (located on the Ringling Campus) from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Criminal history background check is required.
