Immediate Opening: Float Phlebotomist - Contract to Hire (Greenwood, IN)
Position Summary
We're hiring a Phlebotomist to provide top-tier specimen collection services while delivering compassionate, customer-focused care. This role involves traveling to various medical offices and occasional coverage at a walk-in Patient Service Center (PSC). You'll perform blood draws, process specimens, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process lab requisitions
Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages
Accurately print and label samples
Prepare specimens for courier pickup
Collect and process non-blood samples
Ensure proper labeling and test ordering
Uphold safety, compliance, and quality control protocols
Deliver outstanding patient care and service
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience
Phlebotomy Training Diploma
Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen collection
Experience with Specimen Processing
Strong understanding of the Order of Draw
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Phlebotomy certification
Experience with straight needle blood draws
Team-oriented mindset and adaptability
Work Environment & Perks
Travel to one site per day with mileage reimbursement and paid travel time with float pay
Work alongside medical assistants and providers in office settings
Occasional coverage at PSC walk-in clinics
Average of 30 or fewer blood draws per day

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $23.00/hr.
