Description Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create bespoke treatment plans Implement physical therapy techniques centered on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge protocols, and at-home exercises Document all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to foster coordinated and comprehensive care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Certifications

Current state licensure as a

Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Specialty certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are valued but not required Skills

Previous clinical experience is highly recommended Ability to manage patients with complex medical histories and mobility challenges Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Familiarity with digital charting and documentation systems Benefits
