Description Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize recovery outcomes Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise regimens Keep comprehensive records of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards Engage in team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure seamless patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist Preferred CPR certification Specialty certifications (e.g., neuro, geriatric therapy) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills
Prior experience preferred Aptitude for treating patients with intricate medical and mobility concerns Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems Benefits
