Job Responsibilities Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and establish tailored therapy regimens to help them achieve their functional aspirations. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize research-based methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and facilitate daily living activities. Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care. Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers on therapy strategies to maintain progress outside of the clinical setting. Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and refine treatment plans accordingly, ensuring patients remain on target. Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution. Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported. Licensure
Valid
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license required. NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory. Skills Required
