The

Director of Nursing (DON)

is responsible for the overall clinical management of the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and delivering exceptional resident care outcomes. The DON will provide leadership, guidance, and support to our nursing staff while collaborating with other department heads to promote a culture of quality, safety, and resident-centered care. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, nursing care delivery, and staffing for the facility. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Lead and develop nursing staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Participate in QAPI programs and drive initiatives to improve quality metrics and clinical outcomes. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies. Serve as a key member of the facility's leadership team in strategic planning and operational decision-making. Manage budgets related to nursing services and staffing. Oversee infection control, risk management, and resident safety programs. Qualifications: Current, unencumbered

Registered Nurse (RN)

license in the State of Ohio. Minimum of

3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing

in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations (CMS, ODH) applicable to long-term care. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to lead a clinical team with integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Experience with PCC and quality reporting tools preferred.
