CGH has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the CGH Team. Purpose:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and management of the company's quality management system (QMS). This position ensures all products and services meet or exceed contractual requirements, federal regulations, and recognized quality standards, specifically ISO 9001 and CMMI. The QA Manager leads a team of quality professionals and drives a culture of continuous improvement across all projects and departments. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal, customer, third-party, and government quality audits.

Ensure compliance with government contracting requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and contract-specific QASPs.

Translate federal contract quality requirements into company procedures and project work instructions.

Maintain documentation for quality policies, process descriptions, and control procedures.

Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to integrate quality practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct internal process and product audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Oversee nonconformance management and the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process.

Develop, monitor, and report quality performance metrics (KPIs) to senior management.

Lead, mentor, and train the quality assurance team to support professional growth and performance.

Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.

Partner with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and conduct supplier quality audits as needed.

Serve as liaison with government clients on quality-related issues and manage customer feedback and complaints.

Qualifications Number of Years Experience Required:

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Experience specifically in the federal government contracting environment is a plus.

Minimum Education and Certifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is often required.

Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certifications are desirable

Technical Skills Required:

Knowledge Management System such as Confluence

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office 365

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S work visa who has lived in the U;S. for three or more years

In-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI standards is essential, preferably with experience supporting third-party appraisals.

Knowledge of quality assurance processes, standards, and policies

Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Maintain skillset for company collaboration tools (i.e. Confluence/Jira)

Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality metrics.

Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma

Experience as a CMMI Appraisal Team Member (ATM) is a plus..
