POSITION TITLE: 3rd Shift Assembly Operator

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Production Lead/Supervisor

PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Efficient operation of assembly equipment and other assembly tasks to safely produce and pack quality products to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
• Follow standardized work instructions
• Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
• Observe general and specific safety rules, including operating machinery with light curtains and other safety devices
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
• Fill out required paperwork including production, scrap and downtime
• Rework and repair defective parts as needed

Qualifications / Background

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 10 hours and lift up to 20 lbs
• Must have excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills
• Ability to work OT as needed
• High school diploma / GED preferred
• Must be able to use and read various measuring devices
• Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
• Ability to understand multiple types of assembly machine functions
• Problem solving knowledge and ability
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
• Attention to detail / Quality mindset

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday 11pm-7am

40 hours a week with occasional overtime
