Overview

3rd Shift Fulfillment Associate at Mom’s Meals | A Purfoods Company. This role is based in North Jackson, OH. The shift runs from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a starting hourly wage of $18.00. Availability on weekends may be required. The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, and packing a portion of each customer’s order in a safe and efficient manner in a refrigerated environment.

Mom’s Meals is a leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market and is in hyper-growth mode.

Position Responsibilities

• Pick correct items for cooler boxes, scan appropriately, and pack items to complete your portion of the customer’s order
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
• Pay close attention to detail while performing job duties including reading labels and selecting products
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards
• Produce quality work output on a consistent basis
• Move product between locations following food sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assist with general housekeeping
• Work inside a large warehouse area with temperatures between 34–40 degrees; gloves provided

Required Skills & Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Stand/walk for up to 8–10 hours
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Shifts can include weekends and holidays and/or overtime
• Strong service orientation and teamwork; good communication
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Basic reading skills
• Pass post-offer drug screen and background check

Preferred Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar environment

Physical Requirements

• Regularly use hands to handle, feel, or operate objects; reach with hands and arms
• Frequently stand, talk, and listen
• Occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Able to perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
