Job Responsibilities
Advise students in academic programs concerning their academic plans and progress, academic schedule, program of study, and other academic activities and career goals, while also coordinating the faculty advisement activities.
Assist with and participate in the recruitment of academic programs. Contact previously enrolled students to provide information and resources about College reentry.
Actively handle case management assignments for students, including planning classes, assisting with registration, and referring students to appropriate resources.
Offer academic advisement services to prospective and current division students.
Help coordinate and manage student educational plans for division students. Provide registration services to students during scheduled registration periods each academic term.
Collaborate to develop programs, student groups, or campus events that support and improve the experience of division students.
Manage an online learning community and a division-wide email mailbox designed for students to engage with faculty, advisors, and academic leadership. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in student services including advising students in various academic programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Additional Comments
