Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to work from blueprints to assemble palletizing machines from start to finish. This role is distinct from typical assembly line work as it involves assembling very large machines, requiring exceptional attention to detail. Candidates with mechanical experience in machine building are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble palletizing machines from blueprints.

Ensure precise and detailed assembly of large machinery.

Demonstrate mechanical skills and experience in machine building.

Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in assembly.

2+ years of experience in blueprint reading.

1+ year of experience with hand and power tools.

Strong mechanical skills and experience in machine building.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Experience with brazing and installation.

Proficiency in using tape measures and various tools.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, large facility. The position is for the 2nd shift, with training on the 1st shift for approximately three months. 1st shift hours are from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and 2nd shift hours are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.64/hr.
