The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is seeking a creative and skilled guest-focused Night Auditor to join their team of fun-spirited team members! The property has 250+ rooms, nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space, and is conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers. Location: Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel, 5500 American Boulevard West, Bloomington, MN 55437, USA.

This role has a $1,000 retention incentive: $250 on the 90th day of employment, $250 on the 6th month, and $500 on your first anniversary.

You and the entire front desk team are dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction by crafting remarkable and seamless experiences from the moment guests arrive. As a Night Auditor front desk Agent, your dedication to guest satisfaction and meticulous attention to closing and resetting systems will ensure seamless operations the next day, elevating our standards. Your efforts will create unforgettable and unique memories that leave a lasting impression.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver unparalleled service, courtesy, and care to our guests by responding promptly and effectively to guest questions and requests
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in preparing daily Food & Beverage revenue reports, and in creating and balancing PMS reports for revenue and settlement accounts
- Make corrections and adjustments via the PMS and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift
- Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the computer system to generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary
- Efficiently conduct check-ins, check-outs, and promptly answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Resolve guest concerns with attentive service recovery
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 10 lbs.
- Primarily standing for the majority of the shift
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
Experience:
- One year of Front Desk experience in hotels preferred
- One year of experience working in customer service or a guest-facing role is required
- Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous experience with hotel FSPMS systems is a plus
